Consistency, Continuity, Efficiency, Effectiveness, Collaboration, and Cooperation
The Inland Empire Fire Safe Alliance (IEFSA) is a collaborative network that enhances wildfire preparedness and promotes fire-safe communities within San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Established in 1999, IEFSA unites local fire safe councils, first responder agencies, tribal entities, utilities, and other state and regional organizations to collectively address wildfire risks and improve community resilience.
Our Mission
IEFSA's mission is to establish "Consistency, Continuity, Efficiency, Effectiveness, Collaboration, and Cooperation" among and within the fire safe councils and their partners to create fire-safe communities in the Inland Empire.
Our Objectives
Unified Messaging: Developing consistent and comprehensive fire safety messages to educate and inform citizens.
Grant Coordination: Streamlining efforts in grant administration, writing, and reporting to secure necessary funding for wildfire prevention initiatives.
Resource Hub: Serving as a centralized source for information, resources, and research on wildfire safety and prevention.
Agency Collaboration: Facilitating the sharing of updates and strategies among cooperative governmental agencies and community partners.
