There are so many things to do after a fire and it's hard to begin.  If your home was not damaged but you have ash to clean up, here's a document to download with great info.

If you need to clear your property or search for valuables in the ashes, please be careful.  Many dangers lurk under the ash.  Broken glassware, sharp metal, and hazardous chemicals may lie just under the surface.  Here are some tips from officials in San Diego.
